Ronald (Pat)'s Story

Hey, I didn't even start to grow up till 40! Then began the job of parenting. Moved around a lot before then and had many different jobs, but did learn something from everyone of them. I never took life seriously enough to stick with anything much. Was a terrible student and now you must know, I didn't like school much. I do regret that in hindsight. After my kids came along, I settled into a full time position as an Optician & also had my DJ Service until shutting it down around 2003. I'm now involved with starting a home based Internet Business, but it's in the Infant Stage right now... and I'm in no particular hurry. Divorced and now retired... I have some regrets for things not done and some that were, but I'm thankful for a pretty good life so far and that I now have time to travel some and am able to enjoy my home, my kids, my family, my life and celebrate living in this great country. God willing and if my health holds out, I'll have a few more years to finish growing up. I attend Toldeo Bend Baptist Church, now that I'm finally moved down here i...Expand for more
n Southeast Texas. There's a small VFW Post that is popular with the locals too, so I'm playing a little Pool again. Life has it's ups & downs, so I'm sort of starting all over. I don't get to go fishing as much as I'd like to. I've always loved photography, and have decided to share some of my "Memories in Photos" in the albums I'm posting. I hope everyone finds something they enjoy while browsing through the albums. As far as how I'll be remembered... I hope that the first thing was my honesty and the rest as smiling, cheerful and I hope fun to be around. Helpful and a good listner when someone was in need. Most of all, that my kids remember me as being a loving father, that was always there for them, no matter what the circumstance. I would also ask for forgiveness from anyone whose feelings I ever hurt. Many of us were products of broken homes back then and those scars can run deep and sometimes the pains we had were passed on to others. I hope I never did that to anyone I ever crossed paths with. "Health and Happiness" is my hope for everyone now.
